Is anyone with high eosinophilia dealing with bad headaches? Just started on Nucala and my head hurts so bad

Hi Sandy. Reading through the information about Nucala, the first common side effect listed is headache. That’s not very helpful…but at least you’re aware of a possible cause. Hopefully this side effect diminishes over time.

I’d suggest calling your doctor to let them know what you’re experiencing. Maybe there can be a dosage adjustment. You could also check with your doctor/NP or pharmacist to ask about what pain reliever you can take with the medication.
Has the med been noticeably helpful for your other symptoms?

@colleenyoung I have not improved. Not sure what to do, so I’m contacting my allergist to see if she has any suggestions

@loribmt I was aware of that side effect but this is a crazy headache. I’ll see if she has suggestions. It has really dropped my eosinophils, so that’s good
