How often are you getting your testosterone checked? How high is it now? How long ago did you stop taking Orgovyx?

Because of the drugs you were on, it can take a year to a year and a half before your testosterone reaches a low normal level.

I guess you mean you were on Orgovyx Pills for the last year. While that helps get your testosterone back sooner if that is all you are on, because of the long-term use of Lupron it still may take a year or more.

Your age is a factor as well. You don’t mention how old you are.

The hero study showed about half of Orgovyx users got A significant amount of testosterone back within about 90 days.

I was on Lupron for six years and went on Orgovyx For about nine months when I stopped taking it to see if my testosterone would ever come back. After eight months, it hit 50 and was going up to about 25% a month at that point. I was 77 at the time and that’s actually pretty unusually fast for my age and length of time on the drugs.

My brother was on Lupron for six months and it took almost a year for him to stop having the side effects. He was 77 at the time.

One year after my last 3-month Lupron shot my PSA = 0.03 and testosterone is 115 while at 9-months it was PSA = 0.03 and testosterone was 122. I still have serious side effects but at a reduced level of headaches and joint and muscle pain. It looks to me that I will never recover. No libido and my wife has given up on me at age 83. The pain I have experienced for the last year has been 24 hours/day and worse than my kidney stones and gall bladder attacks of the past.

While your PSA is very low around 10% of prostate cancer patients produce little to no PSA.

Pain that lasts constantly is frequently from metastasis not from something else, Though it is possible.

I’ve never heard of someone having constant pain just because they were on ADT in the past, and their testosterone has not returned to normal levels.

Have you discussed this with your doctor? Have you had a PSMA PET scan? While someone may not produce PSA, they may produce PSMA. Even a CT scan might be better than nothing to try and find out what’s causing your pain.

Thanks I will discuss it with my Dr. I have talked to every Dr I see about the leg pain that started with the first lupron injection leg pain happened first lasting 4 minutes then the big flash came. I must be the only person to ever experience that no one has anything to say about it. I did have ultra sound for e re Payless leg syndrome that proved to be negative. The other symptom for me has been insomnia my average sleep time is 2.7 hours a night not continuous and with the aid of 5 sleeping pills they tried before they decided to wait until the treatment is over. That appointment with pulmonary is coming up soon

I have had a bone and PET scan with no spread of cancer detected. Also, the level of pain and side effects has dropped significantly in the last three months which are 9 to 12 months since my 3-month Lupron shot. The only connection I can see is Lupron. I know of other people who have had similar but not as bad issues. I have other medicine reactions such as to steroids so maybe I am allergic to Lupron.
