@jc76, that is what I'm trying to find out. Why 4 months. He hasn't had a heart attack, but is very weak, can't walk from one room to another, his legs give out. Having problems controlling his heart rate and blood pressure. His doctor suggested Hospice. I am stressed as I am his caregiver 24/7.

Should not have to "find out." Should have been told. Suggest a second opinion.

Have you contacted organization like senior assistance? They can help with care giving, transportation, and some have like day care where you can bring your husband. I am not sure how much he can do but things like card playing, puzzles, could help.

Not knowing his medical history (nor should I) hard to steer you to what specialist would be beneficial for him. If heart, cardiologist, if other seek a specialist. Also reach out to senior assistance they can help not only your husband but provide support for you too.
