Spontaneous Splenorenal Shunt

I had a CT scan done it’s finding for the liver was a spontaneous renal vein shunt is present this involves my spleen
Has anyone else here been treated for this condition
If so can you give me any information about this how you felt ,treatment, possible out come
How sick you were

myfablife@ thank you so much for your support . Things are sitting a bit better with me, I have found out more about what’s going on. My spontaneous shunt is actually a side affect of.portal hypertension and that is a side effect cirrhosis of the liver and,
I did not know I had cirrhosis of the live till I see my new Doctor last month.
So I have Cirrhosis of the live and portal hypertension.
Both have fatal prognosis.
That’s still setting in it can be treated but not cured

Hi, I had the same thing as you. I am now 3years LTP portal hypertension is good . I am living life to the fullest. Now I have had some ups/downs but all in all my prognosis is good. So you stay strong and know that u can be cured if you have a LTP that’s what happened to me.💚😊☀️

myfablife@. Thank you so much I appreciate that very much.
I think I’m still in a little shock and I know I will have to have a transplant eventually just not sure what all the doctor is going to put me threw before it happens.
My son said he would gladly give me apart of his liver if he’s a match when the time comes.
I’ll try to keep posting have a great day.

JustinMcClanahan no has done anything about my portal hypertension. Except say yes it’s there. No treatment has ever been offered to me.
I I’ve been dealing with congestive heart failure and having cardiomyopathy . I just had an ICD put in my chest 3 wks ago. I have IVCD also so I’m dealing with many serious health issues all at one time.
