Severe itching from liver metastasis nets
Seems like my liver lesions(metastasis from tail of pancreas) are causing severe bouts of itching on my chest, legs, arms. Sometimes all over. Waiting for radioembolization to hopefully deal with it?? Cold showers and creams for now??

@billbo Non hot showers and cream work for me. After trying different different creams, some prescription, Cerave moisturizing lotion works the best for me. What are you using?
@tomrennie I use Cerave with a steroid cream mixed in, chlobetasol and gabapentin prescription??

1 Reaction@billbo I just use straight Cerave and use lots of it. I was not prescribed chlobetasol. I did take gabapentin for a while, but it was due to neuropathy. At the moment, I don't remember the name of the prescription cream. It starts with a t. I will have to go look at it in my cancer medicine cabinet. I have collected enough "stuff" over the years, that I have a small cabinet for all of it.
@tomrennie my liver specialist thinks the radioembolization of my liver will help deal with the itch? He sees it more of a paraneoplastic effect rather than a skin condition?? Let's hope.

1 Reaction@billbo It could be. Sometimes, you just don't know when you have a lot going on internally. You do know that you just want the itching to stop.
@tomrennie could you check for the name of the cream that starts with a "t"? Th

1 Reaction@billbo It is triamcinolone. Please don't ask me to pronounce it. Though, I have had to try to pronounce worse.
I have Neuroendocrine cancer and have this same symptom. It is common for Neuroendocrine cancer to produce excessive amounts of histamines as well. The rash will start and seems to move locations around my body, very itchy and frustrating. If I take a Zyrtec it provides almost immediate relief. It's an easy thing to try and if it works, it works.
