Yes, I have and for me they can work great but others times they can cause panic attacks for me and I don’t know why sometimes they help so much and other times it makes the anxiety even worse.
If I have adverse effects from THC drops or small portion of a gummy, I decrease the amount. In summer I feel better so I get off of it totally until cold weather returns. I suspect my body removes any accumulation of THC during that time. Terri
I’ve been taking gummies for quite some time and I find it very helpful for my mental health, I don’t usually recommend it to people who have never used cannabis because it can cause anxiety if you’re new to this. It can also interact with other medications so this should also be considered when trying herbal remedies.
I have started edibles for sleep. Before I was using drops of CBD and CBN. They definitely replaced my anxiety for the last month. At first I noticed I had lost any ambition I might have had and felt kind of guilty that I was doing less and content with laying around. I thought I would try these gummies for sleep that had 5 mg of THC along with the sleep elements. Now THC has made me anxious for the last 25 years, but this amount only gave me interesting dreams. These sleep gummies put me to sleep, but I wake up within 2 hrs and have to take a 2mg Lunesta to get a full 6 hrs plus an afternoon nap. I have had no anxiety for the last 3 weeks.

I started taking edibles a few years ago and it helps me with my appetite, anxiety and sleep issues, it’s far from perfect but it’s helpful. I am having some difficulty staying on the same dose, it’s like many other drugs, you get used to the dosage and I don’t want to keep increasing it so I have to take a break for a while to reverse the dose.

I only started the edibles 2 weeks ago. There are so many alternatives such as Ashwagandha/magnesium and mushrooms etc. I would try out a few other products. Good luck.

Meds can be very helpful with chronic anxiety, also very helpful is CBT therapy. Talking out one`s anxieties can feel embarassing and a one down position, but the brief discomfort of such is well worth the benefit of feeling relaxed and not having the sense of dread and pervasive apprehension and hypervigilance. CBT is not a cureall, but is evidence-based and with an experienced practitioner a reĺiable relief for distressing chronic anxiety.
I’m very curious about mushrooms, I know some people who use them and they told me that it really helps with depression, I have suffered from depression forever and the medications don’t agree with me, far too many side effects. I have used cannabis for years but now I don’t find it helpful anymore, I would like to hear from people who use mushrooms and how they feel about them, thanks.

@frouke also interested. I do IV ketamine and I believe the psychedelic aspect of the experience is a critical component of the antidepressant properties. I’ve wondered about mushrooms and how those could work as an adjunct or substitute.

@ashleyharris728, I’ve used cannabis for years to help me cope and high levels of THC, this was the part of the drug that helped me the most, it worked like an antidepressant when I used the Sativa plant and for calming down I would use the Indica. I’ve been curious about mushrooms for years but I didn’t want to use them without a medical professional who knows how much I need to use and also what strain is best, also I need to know what interactions they have with medications. I haven’t been taking cannabis for a while now because I had such adverse reactions to trying antidepressants and the side effects are not compatible with cannabis, basically I’m hoping that the side effects wear off sometime soon, it’s been over six weeks now.
