This could be for several reasons:
a. endocrine changes or problems with pituitary gland or hypothalamus. Or, tumours on the adrenal gland, hyperthyroid....long list. You should be checked out ASAP;

b. low grade infection. Or a serious one like tuberculosis. Doctor can order blood assay for above problems and for CRP...c-reactive protein, a marker for inflammation; and

c. maybe 20 other possibilities, all verifiable with the proper care and diagnostics. It's not normal, so you really should get to a doctor and be referred if it makes sense to refer you to specialists.

Keep an eye on your blood pressure and on your heart rate. If your HR is high, in the 90's or higher, it probably means an arrhythmia or endocarditis, electrolyte imbalance, dehydration....something along those lines. But blood pressure must be dealt with nearly as urgently as it can affect organs and the heart. Stroke risk rises with high BP.

Im 66 and well past menopause , started losing hair at the front ( fringe area) so obviously the hormones are still running amok. ( my doc says the hormones are the cause ) maybe they have something to do with your issue??

I'm 86 and have always had hot flashes for years. But recently I will suddenly break out in a flood of sweat to the point of drenching my sheets. I don't have high blood pressure; just thought it was hormones. Doctor (male) didn't think much about it.

@asl1940 has he done a few hormone tests?? if not id be looking for another doctor. If I am really worried or such about something my doc is willing to do a test if only for my peace of mind.
