@jdebusk I started taking Vitamin K after reading some research papers. Below are 2 examples:

Effect of Vitamin K2 on Progression of Coronary Artery Calcification by Multislice CT Examination (2024)
https://academic.oup.com/qjmed/article/117/Supplement_2/hcae175.927/7904157
Excerpt: "Our study confirms that ... Vitamin K2 can have a role in decreasing the progression of coronary artery calcification."

Does vitamin K2 play a role in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis for postmenopausal women: a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (2014)
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25516361/
Excerpt: "This meta-analysis seemed to support the hypothesis that vitamin K2 plays kind of a role in the maintenance and improvement of vertebral BMD and the prevention of fractures in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis."

There are other discussions on mayoclinic connect about vitamin K, including which supplements people are using. You can use the search box above and search on "vitamin k osteoporosis".

@kfhoz it does seem , upon reading numerous posts, that taking D3 and K2 are very important…now I’m learning there are several kinds of K2 and other Ks…just trying to help the bones without messing up the kidneys, so research continues… the posts here are helping me focus. Thanks.
