Chest pain on my left up my breast

Posted by kushona @kushona, Mar 16 5:26am

I feel pain since yesterday morning on my left side up my breast ,it was after 4-5 days of 95 minutes walking exercises (50 minutes morning and 45 minutes evening) I feel like my deep inhaling is limited but thank God exhaling is ok
When I slept on my right side, feels better, feels calm and can breathe well
But it's now evening but I still feel some pain though not as strong as before
I haven't taken any medications, not even hospital
Please 🥺 DOES THIS INDICATE I HAVE A HEART ISSUE?

I would get it checked out.. Some of the pain you are talking about are similar to the chest pain I had.
If it’s not your heart, then they need to check on other things that could be causing the pain
I wish you the very best

Is your chest sensitive to touch in that area?

@bartering
Not really
Only when the pain exists thats when it hurts when you touch but now the pain reduced so it's not hurting to touch

@kushona It's up to you, personally, but I would want to know if I had an infarct. A simple blood test for troponin, an enzyme produced by dying myocytes, will soon tell if your levels are elevated. If they aren't, then it's something else, but it should at least be put to bed for you. My opinion...

My pain there was constant and indicative of diabetic neuropathy. PreGabalin fixed that for me. GabaPentin was useless.

Hi @kushona, and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect!
You have gotten such helpful comments from others already and I hope you are feeling encouraged. You have found a great place to share information and encouragement.

I thought what Mayo Clinic has to say about chest pain may be useful if you haven’t reviewed it already:

- Mayo Clinic Chest Pain Overview
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/chest-pain/symptoms-causes/syc-20370838
How long have you been having chest pain, and do you have other symptoms? Do you have a doctor you are comfortable talking to?

There is no one here that can tell you because we are not doctors and nor should we suggest you may have a heart issue. That is for a doctor to diagnose and only for a doctor to diagnose. If the pain is diminishing, I can tell you it sounds like you might’ve pulled a muscle during one of your walks or your bra isn’t fitted properly or you have some kind of indigestion. That’s causing pressure in your left breast area. However, if I was you, I would want a doctor to make sure I am not having a silent heart attack and have some discussion going forward about these kinds of pains so you can sleep well at night. And as well, if it’s not serious, but if it is a concern that a doctor can proactively take care of it before it gets to a serious heart attack that might even cause death when it had the opportunity to be avoided! Good luck and please see a doctor.
