Left Frontal Meningioma surgery recovery
I'm looking for others who had this surgery and how their recovery is going.I had my surgery 5 weeks ago. Recovery is going well. I have questions for people who have longer recovery time

Hello I hope you are doing well on your recovery. I’m getting ready to have a left frontal lobe meginoma removed. Can you tell me what I will need for after the surgery and what’s the recovery like?
@tprewitt67 when is your surgery? I have left frontal lobe and have an MRI 3/24 to see if it or edema has grown. It has to be removed but trying to wait until October after sons wedding.
@as72 hello my surgery is wends and my surgeon said I don’t need to put it off. He said was suprised I didnt have emergency episode already. If you wait couldn’t recover from it or not have good success as surgery. My edema is pressing on the brain and mine a little over 3.5 cm. I have no other symptoms. I do have allot of things going on in my body with a lot of pain and I hope once this is removed will help with this.

Sending prayers please don’t put off though because if had a stroke it’s allot to recover from . I heard they can even cause death.

This is so frightening. I pray you will have a successful surgery. Where are you having surgery? Mayo?

1 ReactionPlease if anyone has a meginoma get it checked often ansi don’t even think the dr can see how much if it gets in the skull or blood vessels or bones. Thats how mine was, im doing great praise God i get to go home tomorrow ! Im walking and having know problems and give all the praise to God my king! I know he blessed the surgeon hands but it was truly God doing all the healings! Praying for all this thing was over 3.5 cm and I had no headaches and just had a lot of body pain and don’t if that was the cause of it yet .

Following up with you. How are you doing 6 days after surgery? Any idea when they said you can drive again? My MRI is tomorrow, follow up next week. I don’t want to walk around with this any longer. My concern is the MRI’s aren’t that accurate.
@colleenyoung in home and doing great! Long road to recovery but God has truly blessed me. If you have these please don’t put off getting removed if Dr says so. Mine was very invasive in the brain and skull and blood vessels and the bone. Sending many prayers
