Eye not dilating

I had cataract surgery one one eye 2 months ago, and last month was diagnosed with wet AMD in that eye. I've had 2 shots in that eye so far. I don't know which of those conditions brought it on, but now that eye doesn't dilate normally. If I go from a brightly lit room into a dimmer one, I'm effectively blind in that eye until I turn on a light. Anyone else have a similar experience?

My experience wasn't the same, but Nov 2021 - Jan 2022 I had a severe case of Iritis/Uveitis. My iris's in both eyes were inflamed and prevented my pupils from expanding normally. One eye looked like the Jurassic Park dinosaur slit. I was prescribed two eye drops, cyclopentolate and durezol, and got my normal sight back in about three weeks. after that, I stayed on the drops for a limited time, about 2 weeks, reducing the frequency, before I got the OK to stop from my opthamologist. I think the cyclopentolate was for reducing the inflamation, but you will have to check with your MD. I have not had any problems since then.

Thanks for the response. Since I posted that I've read that this can be an effect of AMD.
