Oral lichens planus
Has anyone every got over this....went into remission or whatever? I've had it 2-1/2 years and seems to be getting better. I'm scared....and so very hopeful!!

Yes it can go into remission.
Once I eliminated a lot of chemicals for a toothpaste, mouthwash anything that touched my head. It got much better and I have not had an outbreak for over five years. Knock on wood as the old saying goes, I hope I never have another one. A doctor told me look at the things you were using look at the chemicals and eliminate as much as possible. My toothpaste is Tom’s children, fluoride, free toothpaste and it works wonder For me It don’t foam up because there’s no egg in it

I really hope it goes into remission. I was diagnosed iN May 2025 and it has been a real struggle.
