Tinnitus & Pressure in one ear and no answers

Hi! I am a 27 yo (f) who has been dealing with right ear tinnitus, slight hearing loss in right ear (per audiologist), pain and soreness in right neck, jaw joint, and ear, and right side ear fullness. I’ve been to an ENT for it and I do not have an ear infection (outer ear), though I was prone to them growing up. I’ve had MRIs done and they’ve shown nothing, and I do not have TMJ per a physical therapist, but I do grind my teeth in my sleep. The pain is getting worse, especially where my neck meets behind my jaw, and I’m afraid it’s getting worse but it’s so expensive to see these experts and keep getting told there’s no issues. I don’t want to lose my hearing; are there any recommendations for tests to try, or is there someone who has dealt with something similar? Also, could muscle knots in the neck cause this? Any knowledge or advice would be so appreciated.

fallingapart, I don't have tinnitus but it sounds like you have TMJ disorder. I see chiropracters when this joint becomes misaligned. The top cervical vertebra may also be misaligned. One nice thing about chiropracters is that they aren't terribly expensive and they are usually very quick to get appointments with. The manage the best physical exams--a lost art these days. The first appointment is usually around $80, If you need a second $40.
Hearing loss can cause tinnitus. The right sided ear fullness could be from your sinuses. I always get relief from the fullness and the neck soreness and the pain in the jaw from a single adjustment.

May want to consult w a endodontist. I have been treated for over a year by an ENT, turns out I have an abscessed tooth. The tooth never hurt, just a bit sensitive. But if you're a grinder it could easily be tooth related. My issue was only found by the specialized Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) done by endodontist, never showed on facial/sinus/head CT (and I have missing bone where the infection has eaten the bone).

@gently thank you! My mom sees a chiropractor and has suggested I go in general, will definitely give it a try!

@arbez oh wow, I was wondering if it was dental, I’ve had my wisdom teeth removed but I do have sensitivity at the top of a right side molar. Thank you for the help!

@fallingapart574, I hope it works for you, too. Hello to your mom, she has good advice. This is kind of interesting https://www.stevenkushnickmd.com/blog/rediscover-the-sound-of-silence-treat-your-tinnitus.
