Anyone getting any relief from Tylenol eight hour arthritis pills?
My doctor said Tylenol would be OK for me to take for my very bad joint pain when the medication‘s don’t really do very much at all for me. Anyone out there getting any relief from Tylenol for joint and muscle pain? thank you for your help!

I have tried Tylenol Arthritis for pain from osteoarthritis, Sjogren's and Lupus and Calcium Pyrophophate Deposition Disease. It's as though I have taken nothing. I have severe pains in my hands and wrists and found lately the taping my wrists with Kinesio tape helps relieve the pains in my hands so I will continue to do so. Hope this info helps you somehow. There is a book available that shows you how to place the tape. Hoping you have luck with this if you need any more info let me know. DianeDonohue

I have luck with Tylenol Arthritis at times. I cannot take NSAIDs due to kidney disease so I’m stuck with Tylenol. My rheumatologist at my last appointment did prescribe Tylenol #3 which very much surprised me. I’ve had them over a month and took my first one yesterday. Didn’t notice it worked any better than Tylenol Arthritis. Your taping idea sounds promising. Please let us know if it helped at all. Good luck to you.

1 ReactionI have CIDP and take two every day, one in the morning and one at bedtime. I definitely think it helps control pain levels. I take one during the day or a full dose if I'm having unusual pain levels.

1 ReactionI take Tylenol 650 mg, 2 every 8 hours daily. Eventually it helped. I stopped taking it for a couple of days (kidney concerns) and could barely get out of bed; even my skin hurt. Kidneys be damned, I need to live every day. It would be nice if it made me pain-free, but I manage daily.

3 ReactionsI’ve been taking diclofenac and it really helps. Took about a week or so to really feel the difference. If you have kidney/liver issues, check with those specialists first.
I find it the most fascinating phenomena. I would give my kingdom for freaking Ibuprofen -
But have an allergy to it now. Dammit. And I hate narcotics. So. I tore a meniscus in my knee and it is dreadfully painful. If I take two 650mg Tylenol, I have to wait sometimes 3-4 hours for it to do anything. Then the pain lessens for about 3 hrs. Then I am increasingly hurting again for two hours until I can take it again.
I mentioned it to my ortho Doc and he said “everyone is different” 🙄
