Prostate Supplements

My Urologist suggested I go on Prostate 2.4 by Theralogix has anyone taken this to help reduce your PSA and help shrink the Prostate. I'm considering going on this but I can't find anything that says it actually works.

I saw a post about it actually and tried to find it locally. I'll have to travel 30 minutes to pick it up. Do you order it online?

Thanks man!

@dpayton I get it at Meijer’s I only get the unsweet. Festival by me used to have it but now they don’t have that flavor. They also have Vanilla, Chocolate and Kids. I’ve had the Chocolate and it’s very good. Since I’ve cut out many sweets, if they don’t have the unsweetened brand I buy the Kids. Good luck.

Thanks man, I just bought some off Amazon. It was the "regular" type.

Appreciate the help!

No problem : ))) ! I am glad that I saw your question since my e-mail notifications setting does not work for some reason and if I am ever late answering it is for that reason ; ).

Yes- this soy milk is pretty easy to find here in the Bay Area. We buy it in Whole Foods because we go there often, but it is also available in Sprouts and Walmart etc. and I am sure in some other stores. : )

PS: Whatever "milk" you buy make sure it has no added sugar, emulsifiers, oils etc. For example this is a list of ingredients for one brand of "ripple milk" and you do not want to see something like this :

WATER, PEA PROTEIN BLEND (WATER, PEA PROTEIN), CANE SUGAR, VEGETABLE OIL (SUNFLOWER OR SAFFLOWER OIL), CONTAINS LESS THAN 1% OF VITAMIN PALMITATE, VITAMIN D2, VITAMIN B12, TRICALCIUM PHOSPHATE, DIPOTASSIUM PHOSPHATE, SUNFLOWER LECITHIN, NATURAL FLAVOR, SEA SALT, GUM ARABIC, GUAR GUM, GELLAN GUM.

Try to stay away form any food that has "other ingredients" than what you wish to consume. If Oatmeal has anything else than oatmeal in the list of ingredients - stay away from it. If "milk" has anything else than a plant involved - stay away from it, and so on ; )

Well, CRAP! I bought the one you said NOT to! hahaha

@kjacko said he gets the kid version and I see that one has NO sugar at all in it. That'll be my next purchase. I try to stay away from too much sugar but I've never bought Ripple before sand just thought that was a normal ingredient. UGH!

I'm also going to look into your soy milk idea and start oatmeal for breakfast, too!

Thanks for all the help, Surf!!

Oh don't worry , not big deal to have it occasionally ; ) now that you bought it. Just try to stay away from ANY food that has multiple unnecessary ingredients ( gums, sugars, sodium, preservatives, "oils" , color and aroma added , even if they say "natural" since natural is not necessary healthy ; ). Sugar is natural but is not healthy ; ). One has to be very careful with that since just because label says "organic" or "vegan" it does not mean it is great if it has bunch of stuff added or is ultra processed. The less ingredients you see on your box or bottle the better ! On "soy milk" the ingredient should be "organic soy and water" - period. On oatmeal ingredient label should say -"whole grain oats", period ; ). Same goes for bread etc. Always look at the label - the less ingredients the better. If you see something that you have no idea how to pronounce - run away from it lol.

Appreciate the PVO on the ooooops buying. 🙂 I know sugar is a bad thing for us and like I said, I do try and stay away from it. Have you ever used the Yuka app? I kinda like it but I'm not sure it's something I can go by, cuz, well, we're in a different boat now. Also, thanks for the tips, they are ALWAYS very helpful. < 3 !!!
