No sustaining ventricular tachycardia

Posted by too @too, Jan 18 10:30am

Hi all, I’ve had stent in LAD, the Watchman all for Afib, now this new diagnosis! Cardio put me on 200 mgs of Amiodarone (couldn’t tolerate) cut down to 100mgs still makes me tired, feeling weak. Hasn’t helped NSVT , I stooped Amiodarone on my own, only other pills are baby aspirin, protonix and vitamins plus magnesium citrate. I’m elderly female still drive and do everything for myself but this Amiodarone has done me in, anyone else have this problem or know of better medication for NSVT. Thanks in advance

I've commented on this group that amiodarone damaged my lungs after taking it only 3 weeks. I think my lungs are a bit better after 4 1/2 months. Prednisone didn't help at all. I, therefore have very negative feelings about amiodarone.

@mart6321 Thanks for the info, I’m still on Amiodarone 100mgs, really do not like this medication but my cardiologist told me it’s the best for me! Why, makes me feel like just sitting or sleeping and tingling in arms and hands. Also not breathing well. Have sent msg to my primary on portal we will see if she has any answers or advice! 🙏🏻
