@doctordeuce hello there happy to stay in touch. I’m somewhat hesitant about having an SCS implant but I’ve seen many stories about successful outcomes!
What is a SCS implant?????
Spinal Cord Stimulation it’s a implant that controls pain with electrical activity check it out
@laurenseavertson789 I've been having diarrhea for the past month or two, so I haven't been taking Lactulose, also known as General and other names. Constipation is miserable. It's put me in the hospital several times and was the reason for 4 surgeries. Anytime I have pain in my stomach, I start worrying. Every ten years I have surgery for adhesions from abdominal surgeries. That's a horrible thing to go through.
I imagine you've tried the diet approaches to constipation. I hope you find relief soon.

1 ReactionI’m replying to Lauren, sorry I can’t find her post. If the 10 mg of oxy isn’t working maybe you should stop taking it or titrate downward (you wouldn’t want to stop because of withdrawal symptoms !).
When I was taking 30-35 mg of oxy a day I had terrible digestive issues. It wasn’t working anyway because I developed tolerance.
@heisenberg34 thanks for that, however it would appear that they may do a steroid injection, anyone had that?
@blowerk1216 No steroid injection for a spinal cord stimulator
@heisenberg34 the steroid injections would be instead of SCS has anyone had this type of injection?
@blowerk1216 I got it. I've had all kinds of injections. Most recently something called caudal steroid injections. None of the helped for any length of time. My very first ones back in 2016 gave me decent relief for about two weeks. The second set lasted about three days. Nothing since. Only my pain pump trial by injection dropped my pain from about an eight down to a two.
@heisenberg34 thank you I had also researched the pain pump
