I have been on for 3 months. I had my first blood work, and it did help with lipid numbers. I have always had muscle issues, tendinopathy before starting Repatha, so I am not sure if the drug is exacerbating it. Statins did a number on my muscles but not sure about Repatha. I did have nausea and vomited once the first week. I told nurse if that continues, I will stop but it stopped after that first week.

I will definitely look into it. I was doing fine on Crestor but wanted to move the numbers lower but i have no choice now. My quality of life is important .

That’s exactly how I feel. I’ve only had two doses.
I feel like I have the flu every day. My muscles are sore, arms neck, legs. My quality of life is more important than this so I’m going to take my chances get off of it and start back on the Crestor. No then, my numbers are not where they should be just going to have to be very more concerned with my diet and exercise.

I literally cannot move my fingers. They’re stiff and sore all the time. No more Repatha for me.
I also take Repatha for hereditary high cholesterol. So far after a whole year I haven't had any side effects and my cholesterol numbers are in a healthy range as a result. I hope this helps you.

2 Reactions@llynch17056 that is close to my experience as well. I did not experience the side effects right away (they came on slower than statins) and they never lessened, they only got worse. The back ache was so bad that I felt strong pain every time I took a step or rolled over in bed. While the pain got better once I was off, I do think I am left with more back pain that before I took Repatha.
Same for me, the 4th week is when I started having neck and back pain, shortness of breath, fluctuations in blood pressure greater than 20 mmg. Dizziness fatigue and loss of appetite.
These medicine feel like im already dead
