Pre-filters for filtered shower heads. (Such as Safewater filters)
What was decided - if anything - about filter shower head pre-filters? I can’t find the discussion. I need to get one since I can’t use my shower head filtered one because of extremely low flow. There was talk about whether to use carbon filters or not, and someone also mentioned the one they use.

Some take the shower head off the shower completely and shower from the pipe itself. This eliminates clogging or trapped water/minerals which can grow the bad stuff. Also turning your water heating heater up over 130+ helps to keep NTM numbers down.
If you are determined to use a shower head and want it "safe" some use Pall but they are pricey and need to be replaced frequently. There are extensive discussions about shower heads on NTMinfo.org but searching there is not exactly user friendly. Good info though.
