Auvelity helped me with severe depression
I have had severe depression all of my life. Getting old with several joint issues has added pain management to the mix. I am also managing High BP. I was taking 200mg of Sertraline, 100mg of Bupropion and 60mg of Duloxetine. I was having dizziness and falling issues. My doctor switched me to Auvelity 45mg 2Xday, kept on the 200mg of Sertraline, 30mg of Duloxetine and no Bupropion. The effect was amazing. Not only did my mood improve, but the dizziness went away. I did need to fight the insurance company since the Auvelity was $2400 per month.

1 ReactionMe too. I'm 70. I've been taking Wellbutrin forever. So glad I made the switch! Struggling with daytime sleepiness but it's only been 6 days. Yea, I felt the effects right away - no more crying, happier, sleeping better!
Just wanted to add that I was hoping you knew what Auvelity was .. it's still bupropion but it's also dextromethorphan too. So, you're still actually on it.

1 Reaction@tander75 I don't worry about the makeup. At my age, I'm just happy it's working and I no longer Pass out or fall down.

1 ReactionIt was ASAP for me auvelity did however on 4th day i was still sleeping way to much during the day so now I'm just on Wellbutrin and it doesn't work as fast i guess.
I'm on this for mood swings i do not have depression.
Sure. It is the dextro that makes you tired but that side effect will diminish with time. The dextro effect is increased by the Buproprion thereby making it more effective at the synapses. It is very effective if you can get over the sleepiness issue.
