My 16 year old son has had Daily Persistent Headache for over two years now along with low iron and pots. He has a headache everyday and reach migraine levels 2-4 times per week. After seeing several different doctors and trying just about every treatment possible we are no further along then we were two years ago. Just trying to find anything or anyone that might help. It has been a nightmare for me and my family.

Hi,
I will say I don’t have headaches but I have had more than I’ve ever had very last few years, it’s unusual for me. My balance has been off since Covid I knew immediately something was wrong because that was not there! I’m also a yoga instructor so I knew something was wrong. I will say yoga helps me a lot and I highly recommend ! Good luck ! I was just officially diagnosed, and started naltrexone low dose, we shall see . I hate drugs lol. And I will never do a vaccine again I had horrible reaction too those also should have listen to my gut! So I feel made my situation worse !

@tsusalis, I’m in about the same place. The headaches are usually mild, but annoying
nevertheless. (From @suefish)

I am a Long Covid sufferer as well and I believe you, but what I’m finding hard to believe is that there isn’t one doctor that can treat your son? What is this medical world coming to if they can’t help us? Have you tried any treatments for Long Covid like SGB injections or other therapies that have been recommended for Long Covid? It may be acupuncture or visiting a Functional Medicine Doctor. You have to do your own research!

Before I had diagnoses, I noticed if the headache was in the back of my head near the base of my skull and I felt kind of nauseous, it's from dehydration. Water doesn't cut it. I have to use electrolytes (currently using Propel powder or Instant Hydration) and some LMNT every day. I figured this out on my own because I kept having to go to the Urgent Care for IV fluid therapy!

After going to Mayo in November, I found out that I have fibromyalgia, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia (IST).

This means my heart rate is higher than it needs to be, even when I'm asleep.

It took 3 years to find this out.

The conditions themselves cause anxiety. I don't have this because I have anxiety!
