How about a laugh, (hopefully)

Posted by Leonard @jakedduck1, Dec 31, 2018

I believe laughter is the best medicine. Laughter has actually been scientifically proven to help people with depression issues.
Let’s give it a try so we can all get happy and feel better. Many Epilepsy forums I’ve been on had joke sections. I was probably the biggest joke of all since I didn’t get a lot of the jokes. They said the jokes couldn’t be above 4th grade level for me to understand them so my jokes may be rather simplistic but let’s give it a try.
Have a lovely day everyone,
Jake

Having gotten sloshed at an all night bar, Pat and Mike stumble out of saloon, only to squint at a mildly shining orb in the sky. “Hey, Mikey Boy,” mumbles Pat, pointing skyward, “is that (belch), is that the sun or the moon?” Replies now head-down Mike: “Dunno. Ask that guy there was drinking with us.”
“Wouldn’t know,” says the over-hearing 3rd drunk, “I don’ live around here.”

Ever since Thanksgiving, I've been followed around by the ghost of a turkey.

I guess he's my poultrygeist.

@hopeseeker22 Salve! Hello to you too!
It’s been multis decenniis since I’ve taken Latin. Good grief, I hope that’s right! I meant to say, many decades! 😂

I had a neck brace fitted a few years ago. I haven't looked back since.

Understood perfectly. I think though that “deceniis”(neuter) so plural probably is “decennia”. “Quomodo linguam latinam sciis?”

I do a lot of dumb things that I wish I could forget.

That's why I'm glad there's...

Milk of Amnesia!

Two tablespoons, and short-term memory is flushed away!

@loribmt, @hopeseeker22, my short-term memory is gone and so is part of my long-term memory, including most things Latin. So I have to say, "Valete." Heck, I don't even remember if that's a correct "bye bye."

A group of elderly ladies were pulled over on a rural road for going too slow. The driver pointed out to the cop that the sign said '32'. He said 'Ma'am that's the route number not the speed limit.' All of a sudden one of the ladies in the back gets a horrible look on her face and sinks way down into the seat. Cop says 'Are you okay Ma'am? What's wrong?' she replies 'We were just on route 116'...
