Before I knew I had COPD, I was losing weight but put it down to a new stress in my life. I now have read that breathing with COPD takes extra energy therefore the weight loss.
I too am loosing weight. Here’s what I am trying. I’m going to buy prepared meals at the supermarket the days I go out. On sundays my daughter will help me cook some meals and freeze them. If you don’t have anyone to help you, maybe you could sit and prepare a few meals to freeze.

One of my doctors recommended eating cheesecake twice daily and adding heavy cream to soups and other foods. Good luck to you.
