Withdrawal from Trazodone. Need hope
I am on day 10 trying to wean off 50mg of Trazodone. Taking it to sleep about 6months. This is terrible. I am dizzy and weak. Very anxious. Sometimes nauseated. Have to force myself to eat Trouble walking. I am under a Dr’s care but no one helping. I got off Xanax easier. Anyone successful at this? I need hope.

oh i mixed you up with someone who was withdrawing from trazdone. yes i take mag glycinate..and 0.37 mg of ativan ( im trying to wean off that very slowly)
Is that magnesium glycinate a vitamin supplement??
Yes it is. It's the PURE brand.
I USE THE Magnesium glycinate gummies & they are delicious.
Why do you want to stop taking it if it works for you?
Are you sure the "side effects" are from MG's or something else?
day 22 ..gulp! well day 20 was great, headache and dizzyness cleared. But back on 21, and so far day 22. have been on medical leave from work now 6 weeks. this is a nightmare. but im hoping im better in next week. how did i ever get here. wish i had never taken this drug. anyone have 4wks of withdrawl?
I've been taking Trazadone 100mg for around 35 yrs. and want to stop. I've been having chronic back pain and just had fusion surgery hoping to stop the pain. Now I want to gradually wean off the Trazadone. I took Effexor for several years and it was difficult to stop that. How would these two meds compare when wanting to stop? Several times taking it, it didn't work and I had to take another 50mg to put me to sleep. I take melatonin and magnesium at bedtime also. I have some Ambien to take instead (not both)when I need extra sleep. Works wonders, but I'm afraid to take it regularly. Any advice or guidance is welcome. Thanks.
