Anyone have experience with Nuedexta to treat PBA?

I would be interested in finding out how well nuedexta was at treating pba affect. My husband suffered a ruptured brain aneurism in Jan. His physical and occupational recovery have been incredible, however his memory and emotional control continue to affect him. Anyone have experience with pseudobulbar affect? How do you stop the crying once it starts?

I don't have personal experience, but I asked my aunt for advice(she was a nurse). She said it was often really helpful for the uncontrollable laughing/crying. She mentioned that once the crying starts, sometimes just gently redirecting his attention or moving him to a quieter space can help interrupt the episode until the medication kicks in
