Change of personality after increasing my med

Has anyone feel different when increase med, like you are satisfied with anything and no changes?
IS that good or bad??

I don’t quite understand what you mean, “satisfied with anything and no changes”. Do you mean dissatisfied or unsatisfied? If that’s the case, talk to your medical professional! If the meds aren’t working or if you notice your symptoms worsening, they may not be the medicine for you.
The first 2 meds I tried affected me horribly. One made me suicidal (something I was not before taking it) and the 2nd made the room spin and I threw up.
Don’t stop taking it until your doctor tells you to. Sometimes suddenly stopping a mental health med can cause major problems.

I meant being very quiet and content that you accept the situations that you shouldn't accept, like your self doesn't accept it.
Ex,
You decide something or say yes to a spouse and then you question your response?
Not sure the med or personality disorder
And then you

Are you in any kind of therapy? I just asked as you mention personality disorder. Is that a self diagnosis? I think you are saying that you are more calm and then question yourself in situations that you felt, at the time, were okay and then you rethink it? Just trying to get clarity as well. Hang in there.

@eliza56, women are taught not to speak up for ourselves. It’s tough to be your own advocate, even when you know you’re right about something.

@eliza56 - how are you doing? Are you still feeling like your personality has changed after your medication was changed? Which new medication were or are you taking?

@hraka13 is right about how we women were taught not to speak up for ourselves!!!! It is as you let someone decide for you bc they know better and you regret that big time!!!

I remember one of my therapists explained the personality disorder as this: when there is increase in the dosage and l complained to her of being numb or not crying ,she tells me that I hated being depressed and it becomes a habit of being sad all the time and you dont accept the change to happiness until you become always in the habit of being happy again!
Can someone clarify how this is true?
I guess the solution choosing between two evils; being numb and happy or being your self sad as you were most of your life.
But my doctor finally listened to me and we made a different plan of the way I take the medicine.

It would help to know the medication that you are taking that makes you feel changes in your responses.

I believe most of them are almost the same of this paeticular side effect. I heard it from alot of people wh I used them.
Although I have tried different kinds for a long time, I now stick to couple of them that they work together!
And I will not change, bc every time I change, it messes up the whole thing and I am back at square 1.
When itroducing a new med, the doctors need to let you start the lowest dosage possible just to try it on you and not increase it until like 2 to 3 months.
