Anyone been prescribed Ohtuvayre (new med)? Your experience?

Has anyone been prescribed the new COPD medication by their treatment team....Ohtuvayre? Just wondering if it now active, how it is effecting patients and how well it does/doesn't work

I tried it for 2 weeks started noticing my O2 numbers were crazy. I’m on oxygen 24/7 at 2 liters, now need to bump it up to the highest available. Simply walking a very short distance brings my heart rate up. I stopped using it over a month ago and the numbers are still not back where they use to be.

Has anyone used or heard of the Wei Institute who claim to have a natural solution?

I am on Ohtuyare and so far I can breathe deeper. I was very happy the first couple weeks. I even called lung doctor to tell him how great it was working. Then I had family come to get me to travel by car to a family gathering and I have to stay several days. My breathing has been terrible. So right now I am confused how much it is helping. I just know I do not want to Leave home over night again. It’s like packing a hospital. Maybe when I get back home I will do better. Does traveling make any of you worse?

Yes, and I reported it to CenterWell, who said I wasn't the first to complain about it. CW was supposed to report it to the manufacturer.

QUESTION: Anybody else wonder about the point of waiting 12 hours between doses if you wake up at noon?

@copdinny mine never had white clumps, had little bit of yellow stuff at the bottom and when you shake it it was a yellowish medication but now it’s not much yellow and not sure if it’s supposed to be that way

I have been taking the medication thru the nebulizer for 3 months now. I hve noticed easier breathing and it feels like the upper areas of the lungs dont feel like constrictive concrete. I will be taking a new breathing test in August to see how much of an improvement in breathing.

Yes, on 6 weeks. Crashed. Four days in hospital. More or less on old meds, back to normal. Not really definite was O2, but off. And never saw an effect of any kind.

Used it for a week was not impressed with it at all! So disappointing after all the hype! I am no longer using it! But some are based on the stock!
