Does anyone have any experience with MEIBO (PF) drops for dry eyes?
I've tried many suggestions from several ophthalmologists for my dry eyes, which started after Cataract surgery.
My current ophthalmologist at Mayo Clinic has suggested Meibo drops. She sent the Rx to BlinkRX, and with my insurance, it's $627!

@trishaanderson and anyone else that has dry eyes. I should have asked this question when I sent you a message. I had feelings come up near my right eye first near the edge then it was near my left eye. Now I have feelings around my eyes. To you and anyone with dry eyes do you feel anything surrounding your eyes? Or are just your eyes dry feeling? It would be helpful to know if anyone does. I know that sounds weird but I have to ask. I am still trying to find out some things that have occurred and still haven't gotten any doctor to tell me what is wrong. It's been a long process. @rnlorena
What kind of feelings? Itchy?
Do you mean your eyelid, lashline, or the eye itself?
The only ways I know I have dry eye are my ophthalmologist tells me and/or my Salzmann’s nodules start hurting, turning red and inflamed.
@trishaanderson No. Anyone who has dry eyes did they notice feelings surrounding or circling your eyes before you found out you had dry eyes? This is how it came about. I can only describe it like this: I noticed I had a feeling and I have to call it subtle that came near my right eye. Like if you were to take your pointer finger and touch near the corner of your eye or just underneath the edge of your eye not painful. Then it happened to my left eye. A subtle feeling. I could tell it felt like something was there but not painful. When it happened near my right eye my blood pressure was up. It was not painful. Then It felt like I had feelings surrounding my eyes. That and other things have happened. I have yet to have a Dr. diagnose what it is. When the feelings came about I decided to have my vision checked again because nobody knows what it is. The Opthalmologist said my vision was okay and he said my eyes aren’t causing my issues. I knew my eyes aren’t the cause of what is going on but nobody else knows either. He then gave me the drops to put in my eyes. I just wondered if besides the dry eyes if anyone felt like they had feelings circling their eyes. Not pain. I know this sounds weird. To me it is very weird. @rnlorena.
Maybe demodex mites?

I tried ordering from the pharmacy in Germany but it does not have Evotears. Tried listing the ingredient still nothing. What am I doing wrong? Does it go by a different name on that particular website Apohealth? Thanks for any input.
@embvub Unfortunately, they no longer carry it. I tried ordering it from the German Amazon site instead, they supposedly sent it, and then after a month it was marked as delivered but I received nothing.
It’s just as well, because Miebo/Evotears has done nothing for my dry eyes. I’m so disappointed.
@embvub I bought Hylo Lipid in France. It's supposed to be the exact same ingredients as Meibo, but I only paid 11.92 Euros. I believe it's made by the same German company but are OTC in Europe under different names in each country. I bought 11 to bring back to US. My ophthalmologist ordered some from Germany but she can't sell them, so I believe she gives them to patients with MGD. When I use them I can barely tell they're in my eyes. They are SO wonderfully light and like a fine oil.
My main problem had been Demodex, but I've pretty much eradicated them through Xdemvy, which is more expensive than MEIBO, but worth it. (Demodex are supposedly comensal but ). Every one over 70 has Demodex.
The German company has other eye drops that are available on Amazon. They all start with "Hylo" and I've tried them all for dry eye. My favorite is Hylo Forte. All of their containers/dispensers, except (oddly) for Hylo Lipid, give an exact drop. Every company that sells eye drops should use these dispensers. They're amazing.
Try France and Hylo Lipid. They're sold at the Pharmacies and are OTC, but behind the counter. I went to more than 8 to get the 11 because some had none, and others had just one or two. They're also sold in England but I don't recall the name. Ask ChatGPT. I used CoPilot to learn about Hylo Lipid, but ChatGPT is better.
Save some money and get it in Europe! Use a VPN and have it mailed from a Pharmacie. Or take a trip! Going from pharmacie to pharmacie made my France trip even more interesting.
Maybe your oil glands are clogged. My eye doc drained mine as the oil was too thick to lubricate my eyes. Now, in addition to eye drops I use heat pads on my eye. You put them in the microwave to warm them.
