Pudendal Nerve Entrapment/Neuropathy/Damage
Hello from a new member. Am wondering if anyone suffers from the monster Pudendal Nerve Entrapment/Neuropathy/Damage? I do. And I'm very alone in it. It is a very uncommon condition, and because of its personal nature, one that many people may not be comfortable opening up about. There seems to be a more vocal/visible presence of patients in the US, AUS and France. I hope, I need, I want - for it be made more aware of here in Canada. If there is any one who suffers from it, or who thinks they might, please feel free to open up about it. Please join me in advocating for ourselves in this horrible condition.

Hello, who was the doctor who performed your surgery? Are you satisfied with him?

I believe my nerve issues are from traumatic childbirth years ago coupled with new conditions. After trying a number of different things I recently learned about pelvic muscle relaxing suppositories. I take these the night before I see my Pelvic Floor Therapist but they help more than anything. I also take gabapentin. This allows things to relax so she can do her work without me coming unhinged with pain. Just a thought to try?
Hello, new to the group, the suffering of pudendal nerve pain and the desperate search for answers and relief. Are the suppositories a prescription medication? Please elaborate!
Thank you.
Hello, doctor’s name? Thank you!
Dr. Kenneth Peters...he implants a stimulator which has helped many. It doesn't work for everyone though.
Yes, I suffer from pudendal neuropathy for over 3 years with no answers from so many people in the medical field. The only possibility was to put something in my back to block the nerves from sending signals to the brain. The only problem with that would be a surgical procedure in the back which I have been advised since I had salmonella with my last surgery to remove the salmonella but it continues to remain dormant on the hardware still necessary for my posture. Any surgery in the back could result in salmonella again. That could end in death.
I would like information on a tens unit. I have an old one (ELPHA 2000) however I don’t know how to use it on my back. Plus I don’t know the settings. Also, if it is to old what kind do I need? Where do I put it on my back. Also who could I get in touch with to help me. I’m desperate.
Thank you,
