About Laser Photocoagulation treatment

Hi all,

My left eye has been diagnosed as MD (Macular Degeneration) suffering slightly blurry vision, but no other symptoms found. Yesterday I have had Laser Photocoagulation treatment which took about 45 min. After treatment no vision improvement is found. The blurry vision on my left eye is still existing.

Please advise how long shall it take for the improvement of the blurry vision on my left eye?

During the visit, my eyes (both left and right) have been thoroughly exterminated. Eye-drops for pupil dilation was applied to my eyes for enlarging the pupils. My right-eye is still in excellent condition, according to the exam result.

I have asked my ophthalmologist whether the problem of my left-eye was caused by using the OTC eye drops. The answer was NO. The blurred vision of my left-eye is caused by slight breading. 3rd injection of Eylea will be arranged.

My left-eye is only suffering the 1st Symptom -- blurred vision

Something strange happened to the aftermath of applying pupil dilation fluid to my eyes in the examination. It is normal having a blurred vision, after its application, for several hours. But after about 3~4 hours my eyes, both left and right eyes, have a very clear vision. It is to my very surprise. My left-eye can read documents on desktop computer screen, 32 inches, without blurred vision, same as my right-eye. Also it could see distant view clear, same as my right-eye without eye-glasses

This symptom continued until I slept in midnight. This morning the miracle gone, my left-eye still has blurred vision. I'll inform this happening to my ophthalmologist in my next vision, scheduled on Oct 09, 2025 (next month)
