I take 800mg twice a day.
Morning and bedtime. I am treating lymphedema in my right leg due to Cancer surgery . Also severe Osteoporosis and
Spinal issues.
I must've read it wrong. Thanks for clarifying.
Looks like 3600mg is max used per day, sometimes.
If I go above 1000mg, I get problems with my coordination and feel foggy-minded.
Yes, 2 weeks and I had all the facts about it I wouldn’t have taken it.
I had a reaction went to bed OK 1 AM left leg and foot very swollen called. The nurse line told me to get to the ER.
The doctors did all kinds of testing and everything came out negative. They told me to go home and watch it as I had an appointment coming up with my main doctor. I put on 10 pounds of fluid in my left leg and it hurt. As soon as my doctor saw my leg, he knew what it was.
It is a drug you cannot just stop. You have to Titrate off. I did a half a dose for a few days, Then they cut it again, two more times before they told me not to take anymore. The first night I didn’t sleep I was wired.
But then I react to everything
I wish you the best
Years ago I was prescribed Gabapentin, then Lyrica, which supposedly replaced it. The various pain issues I have had all have individual reasons, but the most devastating symptom of FMS for me is fatigue. Living on those two meds was horrible for me, like living in a fog. Now I take Topamax for my burning mouth syndrome and tarsal tunnel (in feet). I also take small doses of Vyvance to stay out of bed. Its not great but better than those, for me anyway.
When new off road sandals with arches came out and I could take OFF my sneakers, most of the pain in my feet disappeared. It was life-changing.
I was just prescribed today and after reading these comments,I am scared to death to take it.
Did you have any side effects?
I am to take 100mg at bedtime to start
Hi, no, I take two 300mg three times a day, so I take 1800mg per day. So I am maxed out on this drug, as far as I know.

It didn’t help me either.

Yes, I take Gabapentin for my fibro pain and for sleep!
Yes. For over 20 years. It meant I could garden for more than 15 minutes without agony. I also take it for nerve damage post surgery.
Does duloxetine help you?
