What information doyou need? Psoariatic arthritis is part of the spondyloarthritis family and can actually present with or without psoriasis. Skin psoriasis (scalp, nails, plaques on elbows/knees, inverse psoriasis)

Nail disease (pitting, onycholysis, ridging)

DIP joint arthritis (distal finger joints near nails — uncommon in other SpA)

Asymmetrical arthritis (one knee, one wrist, etc.)

Dactylitis more common/severe

More erosive peripheral disease on imaging

Family history of psoriasis

There is a National Psoriasis Foundation website with good
basic information and much less industry bias and treatment hype.
Worth seeing a dermatologist in most cases for best management.

The surface signs of psoriasis can be subtle and some patients are unaware they have psoriasis.
There are several screening questions that help point to the diagnosis.
Do you have heel pain or Achilles tendonitis.
Are your fingers or toes swollen or painful.
Do you have morning stiffness that gets better
after moving.
Swollen or achy joints may not be the same on both
sides of your body.
Fatigue and brain fog on occasion.
Enthesitis involves tendons attachments with muscles.
Neck and back soreness.
Itchy scalp and ears or pits on the nails.
Psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis are systemic disorders
that are aggravated by mechanical wear and overuse.
