That beautiful fall season is upon us. Our trees here in Southern Minnesota are just beginning to change. If you happen to be in the Midwest this month or next month, be sure to take a drive and witness the colorful countryside. With fall, however, comes the dreaded cold and flu season. Today's blog post will give you tips on how to protect yourself and your family from the flu and illness. Let us know how you stay safe from illness all throughout the year!

Thanks for the reminder, Kristin. I just got home and am settling in after traveling and I have called my pharmacy to confirm that they have a supply of the flu vaccine on hand. They do! So, Before the end of this week I will have my flu shot. So will my husband, as recommended by my transplant team!

My husband and I got ours this morning 😊
There have already been 2 reported cases of flu up the road in Lexington KY.

@keggebraaten Thanks for the reminder. I will call Walgreen's tomorrow to see if they have the high-dose and if they do go down there and get mine. I find it odd that pharmacies have the flu shots before the doctors do!
