@lcamino Thanks Lynn. I had my appointment with my surgeon on Wednesday and he asked how I was feeling. I think he loved it when I told him how great I feel and how when I look back I can't believe how miserable I was a year ago. Honestly, can you imagine how gratifying it must be to be a surgeon changing people's lives like that? He's such a nice guy too, not at all arrogant like some doctors tend to be.

@contentandwell - and your orthopedic surgeon will change your life in a different way. It is only going to get better!

Lynn

@lcamino thanks, I hope so. The last TKR did help because I was limping really, really badly and in pain 24/7 but I have never been really happy with it due to it hurts and I cannot flex it well. Hopefully this time, with a different surgeon, will be better. He's another doctor that I really like, thankfully. He's really nice. When he has had something to say to me he calls me himself, not a nurse or someone in his office and he never rushes you despite that he is quite renown.

Hi JK, @contentandwell

Your doctor sounds wonderful!

Teresa

@hopeful33250 So far I think he really is great. I have been fortunate with almost all of my doctors in Boston. I find it interesting that so many people up here in NH figure that the doctors in Boston are cold and distant and I find just the opposite to be true. They are great down there. My niece just had appointments yesterday with two MGH doctors, she has just found out she has "triple negative breast cancer" and she really loved the doctors and they filled her with optimism.
