I can not get a full night sleep since last pathology report came ( my husband however can 😋 and sleeps like a rock). ANYHOW - I take melatonin , magnesium, Valerian herbal pills but some nights are just relentlessly sleepless. Using gummies with 10mg CBN, 5mg CBD and 5 mg THC per gummy. I found 1/3 gummy does it for me. Tried trazadone but I felt a little out of it the next morning. Melatonin does not do anything for me. One builds up a tolerance to THC over time so I generally take it every third night.
So far sharp as a razor 😋 lol, some days I wish I am not aware of reality lol

Yes, it is not advisable to take any medication every day for years and years unless absolutely necessary. All of them can cause serious damage , from plain old Aspirin that can cause ulcerations and internal bleeding to liver failure with Tylenol, not to mention some heavy duty ones ...
Immediately after being diagnosed with very high risk PCa as well as during the months following a protracted period of pancytopenia, dramatic weight loss and fatigue, I had difficulty falling asleep as well as getting back to sleep when I awakened during the night. What worked for me then, and now, is the Military Sleep Method used by Navy Seals. Here is a link to an article on it: https://www.aspen-neuro.com/blog/seal-your-sleep-can-navy-seals-really-drift-off-in-two-minutes.
It takes a bit of practice, but what else is there to do when you can't sleep!! It works well for me and I hope @asolidrock and @surftohealth88, and any other fellow MCC insomniacs, will have some success with it too.

Zofran is helping you with nausea - right ? 🥺 I am so sorry that you have to suffer so much going thorough such tough chemo treatments and all 😢, I hope you have family or friends that can help somewhat. I wish I know more about things that might help you with managing symptoms. Maybe you can contact @dpfbanks via PM, her husband went through chemo recently and maybe she has some good tips about dealing with side-effects.
Sending you hugs and healing vibes 💗

5 ReactionsWell if I didn't have to go the br I'd sleep more. I haven't used benadryl in awhile. I think sometimes they lose their affect.
