Immediately after being diagnosed with very high risk PCa as well as during the months following a protracted period of pancytopenia, dramatic weight loss and fatigue, I had difficulty falling asleep as well as getting back to sleep when I awakened during the night. What worked for me then, and now, is the Military Sleep Method used by Navy Seals. Here is a link to an article on it: https://www.aspen-neuro.com/blog/seal-your-sleep-can-navy-seals-really-drift-off-in-two-minutes.
It takes a bit of practice, but what else is there to do when you can't sleep!! It works well for me and I hope @asolidrock and @surftohealth88, and any other fellow MCC insomniacs, will have some success with it too.

Thanks Bill 😃 ! Will try that method tonight ! Yes, I fall asleep with no problem, but after first 4 hours of sleep cycle and during a light phase of sleep I wake up and *BAM , allll the troubles of this world (not only my own) descend on me 😵💫. Most nights I manage to fall asleep after an hour or so, but some I just give up and have to "do something". Sometimes Benadryl helps, sometimes small glass of warm milk and half of a banana, sometimes just "getting really cold" helps lol, sometimes repeating payers over and over. Usually before dawn I fall in a deep sleep again but than wake up at 9:30 and feeling so sluggish and groggy 🥴.
Using gummies with 10mg CBN, 5mg CBD and 5 mg THC per gummy. I found 1/3 gummy does it for me. Tried trazadone but I felt a little out of it the next morning. Melatonin does not do anything for me. One builds up a tolerance to THC over time so I generally take it every third night.
I take Temazepam but sadly starting to build tolerance to it. I throw a half of CBD in with Melatonin it works. Trazadone leaves me feeling wonky too. At 71 I don't care if it is mildly addictive. Without sleep I am a zombie with lower quality of life. I haven't held anyone up or broken into cars for it.
