Hi everyone,
Today we updated our blog with some information that deserves some attention. We know patients who get transplants are tasked with trying to figure out how to pay for their post-transplant medications. These medications can cost thousands of dollars a month, and we want to provide patients with tips on how they might lessen the burden of these drug costs. Check out our new blog today: How to Save Money on Your Medications - http://mayocl.in/2mma0qE. We hope you find some tips to help you.
Have a wonderful weekend,
- Kristin

I use GoodRX for all of my transplant drugs. They are way less expensive than when I had a very good insurance policy. I pay less than $50 for my tacrolimus for 3 months supply.

Hello everyone!
Today in our blog we are talking about living donation for kidney recipients. Whether you are considering living donation or you are looking for other ways to help someone who needs a kidney - sharing donation information with the public is a way you can help relieve time on the wait list for recipients. As I am sure you know, social media and online groups are the best way to put information in front of the most people possible. We ask that you continue to share your story, share information from your medical centers, and share our blogs and toolkits to help the world know more about living organ donation and why it is important. Thank you for being a strong voice in the transplant journey!
