Acid Reflux and its Symptoms: Are they chronic?

Posted by mwarenski @mwarenski, Feb 13, 2017

Does anyone have a variety of symptoms associated with Acid Reflux that are chronic? Such as chest pain, back pain, weird tastes, etc.? Please tell me your symptoms. A little worried here...thinking it may be something more serious.

Thankyou for that info. I have been taking vitamin since my breast cancer. My oncologist said I needed it. My breast cancer was in 2002 and I had a double mastectomy at Sloan Kettering in New York City. They said d3 is something they give their cancer patients too. Most everyone living in the north east is low and I was too. Now thanks to you I know it's good for this too. THANKYOU

I don't know where you live but I strongly recommend the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. It might be far for you, but I travel 1200 miles to get there. The gastroenterology Department there is fantastic.

Where do you live'. I live in Dallas and need to find a doctor beyond just my gastroenterologist who does the scopes. I have had four scopes over the past 8 years with two ablations in the past six months and one EMR IN JUne. Who is your doctor at Mayo.? I will consider going there perhaps. I have been to a surgeon at MDAnderson in Houston. But I do not need a surgeon any more he tells me. So I don't know a plan beyond the next ablation.

I saw Dr Burdick
at Phoenix Mayo and had Linx surgery by Dr. Harold there also, it is a excellent facility if you don't want to travel all the way east.

What is a wrap or linx? You are the only person I have heard from who has had the same treatment as me with the RFA and resection. I am so pleased to hear that you have gotten over the high dysplasia. Where do you live/have you always been treated at Mayo in Rochester? I would love to visited further with you if you could call me. I am trying to decide if it would be beneficial to go there myself. I go to a gastroenterologist here in Dallas and take 80 mg of protenix a day but feel I will need someone else to try to cure the BE since they have confirmed a cancer cell stage 1a. The only treatment offered to me is doing the RFA treatments and surveilence for the rest of my life. I want some assurance of cure.
