Has anyone found a treatment that helps with peripheral neuropathy?

Posted by bigjohnscho @bigjohnscho, Jul 1 10:27am

I suspect that everyone on this forum has been searching for a medication that helps their neuropathy and even though you no that all the internet claims are false we continue to waste hundreds of pounds. Desperation is a powerful force. Has any one been fortunate enough to find a genuine treatment. I just can’t believe that there are so many awful people who prey on our vulnerability and knowingly orchestrate such elaborate scams.

when you say your Neuropathy was "gone", was it pain, or the tingling, numbness? Thanks

One of the things I do at bedtime is some yoga poses. Since I started I don’t use neuropathy creams or lidocaine or any of that.

One of the most powerful one is to lie on my back and put my feet up to the wall for about 3 to 5 minutes. This not only relieves the edema pressure but I have no neuropathy discomfort throughout the night. It works for me.

I apologize, this response was for@bigjohnscho and I don’t know what to do about it
I have diabetic neuropathy and have had it for decades. I’m 81.
Years ago in Texas Dr Boa Thai used a low level laser system and it worked. There were about 12 weeks of treatments and Dr Thai guaranteed me at least 50% improvement. After the treatments I told the doctor it felt more like 65%. The main issue I had was it was too expensive for our budget. If I were a rich man I would do it once a year. It lasted for more than six months. He’s in Dallas Texas you can find him on Google.
God bless you.

My neuropathy has improved dramatically with Magnetic Magic PEMF. I use the device every day for 10 weeks now. It's my main treatment. I also have a shockwave machine l use once a week l got from Amazon and a red light l use 2x a week. The red light l bought from a chiropractor, it's called LZR ultrabright. These are the 3 main treatments at the neuropathy treatment center close to my house. I purchased my own equipments rather than keep paying for office visits. My neuropathy is from over exercising. Chief symptoms were altered blood flow and circulation on my feet, burning, tingling, bruising feeling, cold, and discoloration only on the skin to the bottom of my feet with no swelling. No diabetes, blood tests were all normal. Since l started PEMF, each week l can tolerate being on my feet longer than the week before. I'm almost at 11 weeks and haven't plateau yet. My discoloration has improved, the burning and tingling decreased a lot.

Is t the magnetic mat expensive?

I have had idiopathic neuropathy for twelve years. The only thing that helps me the most is to not eat
any gluten and limit sugar. It makes a huge difference in my pain and mobility. When I cheat and eat
gluten I pay for it with a several days of pain and stiffness. I have recently added some magnesium and
zinc to my diet and my muscles are much less tight especially in the mornings.
I hope you find something that lessens your pain and progression.

I started wearing compression stockings day and night and I have less pain now. No one including my doctor has ever mentioned this to me, and I read about it on Amazon advertising where they sell tons of them. It helps the blood circulation in the legs due to the stretched valves in the veins which probably causes the pain. There's more to read about this on you tube. If there is a downside to this, I'd like to know.

It's $3397 if you put in coupon code BRYANT100. This price include tax and shipping cost. I bought it on the company website. Magneticmagicpemf.com
I got the package deal. Mat plus coils. I do the mat for 30 min by laying on it. Then use the coils on my feet for more time while l use the computer or watch TV as extra treatment.

I have neuropathy really bad but I have always experimented with different creams, ointments, pills, etc and finally found something that works for me. It’s called “BIO-OIL”, it sells on AMAZON for $14.00 plus shipping & tax.
I rub it on the BOTTOM OF MY FEET & in between my toes using a small round cotton pad I buy at CVS.
STEP ONE: Rub oil starting with the bottom half of your foot at the toes and rub it in towards my heel about 3 quarters of the way, stop and put a very soft sock on to where I stopped, the rub the back heel with the oil and then pull the sock on the rest of my foot. Do the same for your other foot.
At night, I cannot stand even a sheet resting on my toes/feet so, I took a pair of tennis socks (very soft) and cut a slit down about 1 1/2 inches down the top center of the sock to reduce any tightness on my ankle and I do the above procedure again on both feet with the Bio-Oil.
Understand completely that I’m not recommending this to anyone, this is just my experience and my opinion and it has worked eliminating all the bad symptoms I was experiencing for 4,5,6,7, and even sometimes 8 hours depending on how much walking/working I do while on my feet. One bottle last me a little over a month, I’ve been using it for over a year now with no adverse effects or reactions. The reason I stated not to put it on the top of your feet is that it will stain the skin with a darker skin color like a suntan plus, the skin/muscle on the top of your foot is very thin and the bottom of your feet are thicker.
AGAIN, I’m NOT recommending Bio-Oil as a remedy or a solution to cure your neuropathy, I’m only relating what my experience has been, any decision to use Bio-Oil is entirely your decision with NO RECOURSE AT ALL TOWARDS ME. Wishing everyone with this terrible disease the very best and praying for a permanent medical cure for all. 🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️♥️🌹🌹

I have had idiopathic PN for 20 years. When I stopped Simvastain, PN eventually got better and only affected my feet. Recently, I started ozone iv therapy for general inflammation and fatigue. The PN is only in my toes. Last week, my new endocrinologist diagnosed diabetic neuropathy, since I've had type 2 diabetes for 2 years.... also caused my station use. I continue to use organic lemongrass essential oil on my feet at night. It dulls the burning and stabbing.

I am currently taking Repatha bi-weekly and creator 40 mg daily for coronary artery disease. These keep CAD in check and don't seem to increase the PN.
BEST WISHES.

I use Healthy Feet and Nerves by Terry Naturally I got on Amazon. I also take a lot of other supplements like R-ALA, Bromelain and CVS 50+ Advanced multivitamin. I eat nuts and ground flax seed, olive and coconut oil, greek yogurt for my gut and drink herbal teas. It wasn’t until I started the Healthy Nerves though that my neuropathy practically stopped.
