Sores on tongue, sides of mouth.
Well Yay another issue! Idk where to put this but it’s extremely painful and annoying. Around March our tree pollen was high and I started using Naselcort.
My allergies symptoms are weird -
But the part I had is the severe tiredness and irritability. I even left my home and went on vacay! I know I was very lucky to be able to. My mouth did seem to improve and then
It’s gotten really bad again. I can’t eat any spice! I must use my granddaughters strawberry toothpaste - so many things hurt. I did go
To the doctor but because my appointment was for
Something else they didn’t help me. I’m assuming now
I have some sort
Of histamine problem? I have positive ANA speckled 1:80 titer.
This is so hard
Bc my chronic pain is becoming worse and to deal with this makes
Me very depressed. I looked at
Both sides of my tongue last night and both sides
Have blisters? My inside
Cheeks also have white
Swatches? ANYONE?????

I suffered from the same issues with mouth and tongue sores after beginning methotrexate- I don’t know if you’re also taking it too, but it’s a bad deal for sure. It was so painful to eat or drink anything but water! I do hope you find out what’s causing the sores ASAP. Sending prayer and good vibes your way 😊
You can make clove tea which helps a lot with oral pain. Dentists used to use it and a lot of oral products have it in them. It’s antiseptic and analgesic. Take 6 cloves in a cup, add boiling or very hot water, steep to your taste. Make sure it’s cool enough for your mouth.
You can only do it several times a day for a few days. If it causes stomach issues don’t use it. Google clove tea to find out more, especially for allergies.
It has a pleasant sweet taste, kind of like licorice and helps a lot. It also helps with toothache pain before you can get to the dentist. I always keep some on the shelf since I get mouth blisters a lot
See if your dentist will look at it. Nystatin oral suspension may help.
They also give it to infants. Spit out access, don't rinse for about 30 minutes.
An ENT could help you also.
Hope that or whatever you choose, works for you.
Best Regards
Magic Mouthwash! It’s a prescription and must be made by a compounding pharmacy. When I get those nasty sores it’s what I use. Your pcp should be able to give you a prescription for it.
I have had this problem since 1995. I carried Anbesol and Kanka even though they were not canker sores. It seems my mouth was always in some state of oral thrush. Finally, the doctor advised Lidocaine Viscous 2%. It works very well and soothes, and gives it a chance to heal. Nystatin (Magic Mouthwash) can be swished and then swallowed, or oral medications like fluconazole can help ease or eliminate mouth sores.
I am on lifelong amoxicillin 3000 mg daily, for a Sepsis infection from 2017 and the oral thrush now comes with that.. The lidocaine is my only help.
