Anyone had experience with OsteoStrong, who is not a franchisee?

Has anyone had experience with OsteoStrong? It suggests you will get a large increase in bone density while using their facility 10 minutes per WEEK. Somewhat pricey at $99 and up per month, but am curious if anyone who is NOT a franchisee, has experienced this program?

I response to the study from Greece, I think we can all agree there are so many errors in reporting that we cannot believe this until the original data is reviewed by another source. However there are other studies that support osteogenic loading reasonable for people who cannot do impact. If at all possible we should be doing heavy resistance training and impact but osteogenic loading with qualified coaches is a great substitute for impact. Now that my bone loss has stopped I am comfortable with impact training. New app from New Zealand called Osteo-Gains is a great place to start with pre-conditioning.

I have been going for 5 years and my dexa has improved. I did some research and if you go to the NIH website it has a study that Osteostrong improved Tubercular Bone Scores.

I could not find it would you provide a link if possible? Thanks so much.

I've been going through the program for 4 months; and already, my muscles and bones feel much stronger. I was using a walker several months ago - now, I have no need for it, and my balance, leg, and core strength have improved greatly. The first time I went for the demo, I pushed 251 lbs. of force on that particular machine, and now I'm pushing 655 lbs. of force. Plus, the studio has a BioCharger machine (a Tesla (the scientist) inert gas invention that participants cluster around to receive the healing benefits of that device and its gases. My "pain" doctor/caregiver also noticed a change in my bone structure and posture. I also follow the dietary and supplement suggestions the studio recommends. You can only go once a week - the body needs the time to rest and regenerate from the 15-minute sessions, so I practice yoga and breathing exercises every day of the week. Best of luck to you...Alex Rose

Wow $99 would be awesome! Boulder Osteostrong is $199/month but worth every dime to keep those horrible drugs out of my system! And showing a 7.2% spine increase and 4.4% hip increase in my first dexa after I did the program for 2 years...I'm coming up to my 4th year soon. And another Dexa in April of 2026. Curious what my results with show then.

I’m 63, with I’m told, severe Osteoporosis.

I tried OsteoStrong, and I personally feel it’s overpriced and much overrated. I spoke with several people there, and those with improvement, started their program with osteopenia—not severe osteoporosis.

Other people who had severe osteoporosis, who had been there a longtime, actually said there was little improvement seen in their DEXA Scans, but thought OsteoStrong was stabilizing them so it wasn’t getting worse.

I considered the hype, lack of studied proof, and what members told me. I was only there for a short time, because my intuition told me, it wasn’t beneficial for me. Especially, for my overall health and fitness.

The program was more than $99/mo in my area, annd I was told only 1-day/ week wasn’t enough to see the progress I desired—so there’s that.

I couldn’t budget in anything else! So I purchased my own vibration plate that has a built-in program for Osteoporosis, started doing equipment-based Pilates, walking, and weightlifting (not heavy). I make sure I get 1000 - 1200mg of Calcium per day, and receive a Prolia injection every 6-months (Note: I cannot take any other medications due to experiencing negative side effects.)

My DEXA scan is now showing overall improvement, so this is a good path for me.

@anne905 hello, thanks for sharing ur experience it gives hope..I'm 66 yrs old and have severe osteoporosis .. could u pl share which vibration machine you are using and how many pounds of weights u're using. Did u start pilates on ur own or use a proffesional trainer?
I've just undergone lumpectomy for breast cancer and now teriparatide is not safe for me..i'm scared about prolia ( the rebound effect) for me I have two choices - reclast or prolia and both have so many cons ...many people report drastic side effects of reclast..really at my wit's end!

@shail the only vibration plates that have any clinical trials showing some bmd improvement are the low intensity vibration plates like Juvent and one other manufacturer whose name I can’t remember. Juvent is expensive. As to weightlifting, the only scientifically proven program is based on the LIFTMOR clinical trial and it is called Onero. Check their website for locations in US. They are run by licensed pts or dpts.

@cobb thanks so much! perhaps the other one is marodyne?
I'm based in India and unfortunately there are no certified centres for the LIFTMOR program.
I'll check out Juvent..so much controversy about regarding the efficacy of the VP
so good to know it has actually worked for someone.

@shail yes, that is the other one. I decided on Juvent, hope it makes a difference!
There is an Onero Online program which focuses more on balance and agility rather than weightlifting since you can’t access regular Onero. There is also a program for a pt to become licensed if you know someone who might be interested. My dpt is currently teaching 3 groups of 6 2x per week so I believe it makes business sense for the pt trainer.

My first DEXA scan was in October 2023 and my second DEXA scan was in December 2025. Corresponding results were:
Oct 2023: -3.3, -2.2, -2.5, -2.3, -3.0
Dec 2025: -2.3, -2.1, -2.2, -2.0, -2.5
Improvement!! Only one finding was still in the Osteoporosis category, at -2.5.

I had one Reclast infusion in Oct 2024 and began weekly OsteoStrong appointments in May 2024. I take 600 mg of algae calcium plus vitamin D3, and also a regular women's multi. I'm inconsistent on exercise and strength training, but working on it. I am in my upper 60s.
I have no way of knowing exactly what has contributed to my improvement, but I will continue with OsteoStrong even though I have to pay for it. The appointments are quick and easy. I'm going to wait on a second Reclast infusion for now due to concerns about specific side effects.
