Has anyone had multiple blood clots in their lungs?

I had an almost fatal blood clot in 2020.
After 4 years my doctor tells me that I have multiple blood clots in my lungs and they have probably been in there eversince 2020!
This a rare lung disease and the only cure is to have surgery to remove them!

I had blood clots in both lungs and was put on Eliquis twice a day (5mg) it cleared up my lungs and a larger clot in my left leg. Been on it for almost 2 years without any problems so far.

Over 4 years! The blood clots have turned into scar tissue at the opening ofmy right lung! I haven't been able to breathe for over 4 years! $ years ago, was misdionosed and after not being able to breathe, I took it it on my own to quit going to my Pulmonologist and went to OU Medical Center in OKC where they found the scar tissue! I am having a Ballon Angiogram done on July 31st in Dallas Hospital where a catherter will go into my groin, then up thru my heart to the opening of right lung where the surgeon will try to get as much scar tissue out as he can! It is a possibility that I will have to repeat this procedure 2or 3 times?? And ifthe surgeon can't get thescar tissue out, he will split my chest open and go in and get the scar tissue! The heck of it all, I live 600 miles round trip to Dallas!

I had one PE. Took Elliquis for a while. Then x-ray showed it was gone, thank God!

I coughed up blood . CT scan showed one in each lung. I was admitted and I got better by the hour after ;two days was released. I later found out I have a gene mutation that gives me a propensity for blood clots. I had several in my arm years earlier. I’ve been clot free now for about 10 years. They are dangerous and extremely painful. Don’t wait. At first sugn, Go to emergency
