weight loss and long distance walking

Has anyone had disappearance of HCM with weight loss and walking 8-10 miles each morning? All my symptoms have disappeared over 3 months of gradually increasing walks to 3+ hours of walking each morning and covering 8-10 miles. additionally I have dropped 25-30 pounds. I sweat off 2-3 poumds each walk but replace fluid loss during day after walk. Its like I dont have HCM anymore and outflow tract obstruction is abscent.

Makes sense. When I don't exercise, I have more palpitations, and lightheadedness--when I do exercise--that is minimal. Wouldn't it be great if the ventricular shrinks (gets thinner) with more exercise? Just a hypothesis!

I recently broke a small bone in my foot and have to stay off it. I can't walk and it scares me. Any thoughts?

Do you have access to a stationary bike? An recumbent? Just a suggestion.
