Estradiol Vaginal Cream
Has anyone experienced bad side effects from using Estradiol cream? My urologist wants me to take it for very frequent nighttime urination. Anyone have hair loss that you believe is from using iti? Thank you.

I used the pellets years ago with seemingly no problems. I did have an elevated d dimer when tested for fainting but we don’t know what caused it. I started the cream about 2 months ago. 2 weeks ago I developed soreness in one breast and armpit. The PA doesn’t think the cream could cause this but I am not so sure. I am stopping use to see if it goes away. I suspect this internal use hormone has more side effects than they want us to believe. I’m sorry to hear this because I really wanted to ease my at atrophy, uti like cramps and dementia down the road. I may ask for the pellets again.
Can you explain what you mean when you say that you have not had good results with the estradiol cream. Is this the vaginal cream?
How about the patch?
Yes .
This is the vaginal cream for atrophy .
I just looked at my medical file and I see that 25 years ago I was diagnosed with a painful breast cyst on that side. I have not had discomfort for years. I even used the estradiol pellets years ago and did not have this. For some reason, the cream is making it act up. I did speak to my doctors assistant, and she did not think that this was the problem, but obviously she is wrong.
Yes I have, I started using esteriol cream in early November for the same reason as you, my hair gas been shedding ever since. I will mention it to my go next time I see them.
Yes I did, I started using it at the beginning of November and have had shedding from hair ever since. I will mention it to my GP when I see them next.
I'm a 62 year postmenopausal female and have used estrogen cream for dryness for a few years now. I am on a very low dose, twice a week because I am a heart patient. I had a CT scan recently that showed my endometrium to be thickened to greater than 12 mm. My Gyn told me to stop the estrogen right away, and follow up with an ultrasound in 2 months. Could this thickening be from the estrogen alone? And will stopping the estrogen shrink the lining? Has anyone heard of this as a side effect?
My hair stopped shedding after starting a patch in perimenopause and now post-surgical menopause my hair is growing faster and thicker on a higher dose of systemic estrogen. I think it's too high but that would be other side effects that are bothering me.
