@pran

I feel spontaneous overall weakness or lack of strength for approximately an hour. The weakness gets better when I’m sitting; but upon getting up the weakness return. Is anybody experiencing this? If so, what help?

I have restless leg but is simple to over come for me , just put a bar of ivory soap under your bottom sheet, it may take 2 or3 weeks to work ,I know it works.

1) Inflammation- originally this presented as pain all over my body, and extreme sinus pressure, headaches - Now I still have chronic headaches that come and go. Seems related to barometric pressure. Allergies that I had which are mild are way worse - small exposure to mold can give me my main wierd symptom:
2) Headache, which is always experienced as sinus pressure accompanied by severe sleepiness. If I take a nap for an hour, the sleepiness goes away but the headache remains.
3) Weird joint inflammation /pain that comes and goes. Can resemble RA wrists, fingers, elbows, shoulders and neck all can become painful. especially hard to sleep when shoulders are in pain.

You are the only other person that I have heard that experiences your number 2.
I too get the extreme sinus pressure/headache/fullness followed by severe sleepiness. The inflammation is so bad it causes my ears to feel “full”, (I also experience tinnitus and ears popping) which in turn affects my ability to walk. That is definitely in my top 3 worst symptoms. Stomach/digestive issues is probably another top 3.
Then it’s a tie between joint pain and heart palpitations. The heart palpitations seem mostly after I eat, probably some connection there, with the gastrointestinal/digestive issues.
I pray so hard for all of us. I feel so happy and hopeful when anyone of us says they are seeing some relief/healing. Also feel a twinge of envy. I have been suffering for over three years and was pretty much ready to accept this as a permanent chronic illness after years of several doctor visits and test with no diagnosis or success of treatment. But maybe just maybe in time…

Yes, I also get some tinittus and popping/moisture in my ears.
I did have heart palpitations and racing pulse previously which also seemed to happen especially after eating - and sometimes after standing up especially if my water intake was low.
for awhile I had to eat extremely small portions, especially if I ate any carbs, like even 1/2 slice of bread I would get palpitations, heart racing and blood pressure instablility (sometimes going high, othertimes very low.. together with exhaustion/sleepiness. I was diagnosed with GERD and extreme scarring of esophogus which was strange because I dont get heartburn, but just some feelings of indigestion (burping). I was put on a medication pantropolol (or something like that) and they did another scope and now the scarring is gone - also no more palpitations or racing pulse.

So happy to hear the heart issues have subsided and the scarring has healed.
Wishing you continued healing.

If you have not seen a GI doc you should. I think improving the GI issues was what improved the heart palpitations. they thought it might be a heart issue, but heart completely checked out ok.

Now over 5 years in LC…the very first symptoms from covid 19 were high BP and this has remained and grown worse along with high HR and syncope diagnosed as ‘postural hypotension, not POTS’ with tilt table test 18 months ago. So this related group of symptoms is far the worst as so disabilitating…think collapsing out completely in town followed by severe vomiting! The fatigue and all over pain, and lack of sense of smell ( and related flavour) I have learnt to live with by very slow living, very limited cooking ( an old hobby) and shopping, and lots of help from husband…but I miss the prospect of walking in country or town, which means no holidays!

Yes, I'm fine at rest but any exertion tires me out quickly. I do life in 10-20 minute bursts and then I have to sit down or lie down.
I have been diagnosed with 2 issues which apparently cause this:
1--Cardiac preload insufficiency which means my vascular system doesn't not return enough blood to my heart when stressed/exercise.
2--Reduced mitochondrial effectiveness which means the mitochondria in the cells of my skeletal muscles no longer utilize oxygen effectively.

Chronic fatigue, pain in joints, confusion about dates and times.
