aquablation and retro ejaculation
I had aquablation 6 weeks ago and have since experienced retrograde ejaculation. The doctor said I would ejaculate after the procedure but the volume would be less. I can feel it build up but nothong comes out so I now have retrograde ejaculation. The doctor claims I am his first patient to complain about this. BS.... My question to everyone does this ever improve over time or am I doomed with this for life. I also have burning in prostate area and urethra sometimes worse than other times. I assume I'm still healing maybe?

I can't imagine why the prostate is still large after the surgery.

No more bruising. Yahoo! RE still there. Intermittent pink urine still. A little pain w urination especially at the end still, but not too bad. I’ll be a month from surgery on April 19th.
Have you considered holep?
You are doomed. It had been six months since my aquablation. I still have the retro. Im only 51. So yeah. I regret the procedure. I would not recommend this surgery to anyone. I have had a horrible recovery
You have my empathy.
I suffered similar poor results, and am now dealing with relentless urinary tract infections, which resolve somewhat then kick back in following completing of anti biotic regimen.
My sympathies Every man has his own recovery and reactions
Granted I had HoLep (neck preserved ) which is associated with lower risks.
Sorry, as we all are for you, however ,this is not the case for everybody after a prostate procedure ,so he is not necessarily doomed, just because you feel you are , or you had post affects.
I can’t explain how , but some men miraculously been able to go back to normal. I was suffering from retro for over a year. No longer.
I had my surgery on first of April (6 weeks ago) and am experiencing RE. I started with prostate problems over 17 years ago, and the aquablation has improved all previous symptoms. A few days ago, we had sex and the RE caused burning at orgasm....and now (days later) experiencing prostate pain/pressure like before the surgery. I did experience the slight burning the first few orgasms, but the sensation, pressure, etc passed fairly quickly.
Anyone else finding the RE causes lingering issues or pain/discomfort?
