About heart condition
Last night I cried a lot and I was really hurt. I cried silently and I cried for almost five hours. I saved everything up and last night I couldn't take it anymore so I started crying. Then just recently, when I finished taking a bath, I felt sick. I felt nauseous a few times. Then I felt a little better. Now my chest hurts and I have difficulty breathing and I can feel the pain in my heart.

If I were in your shoes, I would go straight to the emergency room right now and let cardiologist know. A few days ago, I had similar problems and my cardiologist told me to go the ER. I did, and they did a lot of testing (of course including an echocardiogram and a CT chest, constant bloodwork, and raised my Camzyos dosage).
Have you had an alcohol septal ablation?
You will still have some heart pain and shortness of breath even with an ablation however. It's what we live with.
Hello @namhooncai,
I can imagine these symptoms and overwhelming feelings were difficult to process and manage all at once. If you don't mind sharing, have you been diagnosed with a heart condition like hypertrophic cardiomyopathy? These would be symptoms worth getting looked at by a medical professional whether or not you have been diagnosed with a heart issue, but most definitely if you have been.
How are you currently doing? Have your symptoms subsided at all?
Hello @namhooncai,
And welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect.
@JustinMcClanahan, our Moderator, asked some good questions and I would ask the same thing...you posted in the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) group, is this a diagnosis that you have?
You mention "About heart condition" but do not specify what that condition may be.
You mention crying a lot, and crying some more, but then feel better and now have chest pain and difficulty breathing.
I can say that I have had a few emotional moments in my my life when I cried so hard I almost made myself sick...emotional pain is real and physically affects people, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy can affect each person differently, because we are all so unique and special.
Were you crying because of HCM symptoms, and what symptoms specifically made you cry this much?
It's okay to be emotional about having a heart condition, but don't curl up in the fetal position and do nothing. You need to be your own best advocate and seek help.
You are important and need to look out for you!
Are you close to a heart institute or Center of Excellence (COE) where you can get proper care, diagnosis and treatment?
