THANKS of all of you kind people for your concern
Thank you @jms7
Thank you @colleenyoung
I want to say that I started to suffer with having excess of mucus 3 months ago and it last for 2 months WITHOUT anther any symptom. after that I began to find difficulty in breath and i feel that my lung could not do its function because of i feel mucus get accumulating in airways.
I do not have anther symptoms like fever or cold . just continually excess of mucus in which i find difficulty in throw it out and recently problem in breathing.
I did swab throat and it found diplococci and candida and also did x -ray for chest
I sent those tests to the doctor and give me medicine;azithromycine 500 mg antibiotic for 3 days and montelukast and levocetirizine.
I take these medicines for 2 weeks but I could not get better.

I want to add if it is safe to use Expectorant medicine like mucosolvan to help in expelling phlegm But i am afraid if this can give bad impact because i do not have coughing to push mucus out SO may using expectorant medicine would not be right choice in my case.

thanks for your kindness gentle people

Sometimes I do something very simple like drink hot water with some fresh lemon juice and honey. This is very wonderful for the lungs and throat. For me, it does help clear my lungs and keep them happy! The lungs have a better chance of getting rid of mucous when a person is well hydrated.

@jms7 .. sorry but can't help but wish you were still posting on my Forum with your great ideas! Katherine

I certainly will dear friend! I wished greatly to reply directly to Hisham since he is new and has these very new lung concerns. Perhaps we collaborate and you would mention to others to occasionally peruse lung health in general, as that is the large category we ALL fall into and are united by. We are all here to help one another, and I find when people truly wish to heal, they seem to attract and be in fellowship with those who assist and support, thus they can also one day help others. I will gladly post something new in the MAC group. Be well and cherish the day my friend! : )

Hello Katherine,
I am Marianne. Thank you for reaching out. I was going to a pulmonolgist for awhile, but my good insurance policy dissolved. So it has been two years or so since my last visit. She had me on Flovent for two years with barely any improvement. That did not reduce the mucus one bit. (They never prescribed anything at all for reducing mucus. I was gasping for air 24/7) I did not notice much change other than my voice got much higher in pitch, we were merely trying that remedy. I was desperate to fix my breathing problem. My bronchiectasis most likely came from pneumonia and compounded from pet bird dander and cat litter dust. My home was filled with bird dander/dropping dust and my cat litter contained SILICA. WOW! As for the Serrapeptase (Serratia peptidase) I buy it from Prothera (protherainc dot com) 888-488-2488. you have to register and may need a password from medical staff. My general doctor gave me a password to register. Prothera sells pharmaceutical grade vitamins, and supplements. I received a newsletter from Prothera in email about medical breakthroughs and one was referring to Serratia Peptidase for lung issues. So I researched and decided to try it. What I use is called Serralase enzyme supplement. I used it to relieve severe mucus and breathing difficulties especially in Chicago HUMIDITY! That cleared up in less than a month. Enzymes are not measured in mg. So It is difficult to know the amounts I am taking. I follow the instructions on the supplement bottle. I also use four hepa air cleaners AND my whole house fan on my furnace 24 hours a day WITH IMMEDIATE IMPROVEMENTS in my breathing. I will be seeing my pulmonologist again soon for a check up. I feel that I am controlling the disease progression through AIR CLEANING mostly. Only in the summer months I have to worry about humidity. A pneumonia shot has done me well, this year I did not get pneumonia with my cold/flu. So I agree totally to consult your doctor before taking any enzymes. It certainly is worth researching. I barely take any at this time as I am maintaining very well with the clean air. I really appreciate your warm, caring, and compassionate advice. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Marianne

@marzz .. Marianne, my goodness .. what a tough time you have had. I am SO glad you are seeing your Pulmonologist soon .. be sure to tell them about your enzyme .. and how much it has helped you .. BUT different things like this can counter act different meds IF your regimen is changed in any way. I is important that our doctors have a FULL picture of everything we are using. Keep us posted on how you are doing! Hugs! Katherine

I can not express my passionate feeling to all of you for your support to me in this difficult time I live in
thanks my friends

Dear @marzz
thank you for caring
my doc give me recently enzyme similar like which you used, it called Alphintern (trypsin and chymotrypin enzymes)
when I use that enzyme(alphintern) I feel better and mucus expelled out easily but after stopping it my condition deteriorate again
I am afraid if there is a definite disease can not still be diagnosis truly and in the same time I continually using medicines just temporally palliative.

Could you @marzz please tell me how long did you use your enzyme Serratia Peptidase ?
and did it give you perfect recovery?

Hello, my condition is diagnosed as Bronchiectasis which has no cure. the enzymes dissolve the mucus. if I stop taking them, it builds up again. This may be due to allergic reaction to dust and dander, or just bacteria in lungs. I recently stopped eating ANYTHING at all before bed to prevent GERD which also causes mucus formation in the lungs. when I feel hunger late at night, I drink two glasses of water to feel full. I sometimes stop the enzyme for a few days at a time to cut back on them. I will try stopping for a couple of weeks and see how my breathing is. I hope you find some answers. Our bodies are responding to something in our environments, this is a terrible condition and chronic. do you use HEPA air cleaners at all? this is important to remove possible mucus triggering allergens.

dairy products cause our bodies to react by inflammation and mucus due to this food source does not belong in humans bodies. it is for young calves not humans. this is why we react this way. I heat my creamer to almost boil to kill off bad bacteria if I use it in coffee. otherwise I do not touch MILK. it is loaded with pus and bad bacterias. terrible!
