I do not see MDS AS GOD. WOUKD LIKE A CORRECT DIAGNOSIS JUST ONCE
It's continuous, forever, fine fiber neuropathy given the incorrect med. Flagyl. Also, my spine, and have an entirely destroyed digestive track due to antibiotics. Told IDS I was going to get TOXIC MEGA COLON and did nearly died and still may. Continuing to fight additional new problems coming up from the old problems as I sit here in the middle of the night in pain, afraid to sleep if I could. Will now always be in pain and worse.
I gave a problem with Lyrics and will never take it again. Much too dangerous.
I am at one MD OR ANOTHER 5 TIMES A WEEK. WHAT PRODUCTIVE LIFESTYLE, WORK.....I WOULD LOVE TO WORK AGAIN.
Hello @johnjames. I see you posted a message with only the word, "I" in the Pain Rehabilitation discussion. Did you mean to post more?
Here is a success story from Mayo Clinic Rochester's Pain Rehabilitation Center that I thought was relevant to this discussion:

I have been putting off maki g an app.I will call first thing tomorrow. Thank you so much for your input Faith
Hello,
I was a mess when I entered the Pain Rehab program at Mayo Clinic. The staff helped me taper off some of my pain meds, the opioids, but would not touch some of the other drugs. It was a definate plus to get off the opioids, I could not see the damage they were doing to me.
The course was good, teaching skills to help use relaxation, meditation, exercise, distraction, and other ways to help you live with your pain. You get 15 days to learn how to care for yourself with plenty of support from other patients and staff.
The one thing that was difficult for me was making so many new friends and then having to leave them behind.
I would definately recommend the Pain Rehab Clinic.

I'm scheduled to begin Mayo's pain rehab program next month and wanted to get a head start on tapering off the opiates. This is Day 5 of zero opiates and withdrawal symptoms have set in. My right hamstring is on fire with nerve pain. Diarrhea began 3 days ago. Can't sleep through the night (wake up at 4:00 or 4:30 and can't fall back asleep). Today I called Mayo Pain Rehab and also my local pain MD. Received no call backs from either. Without the benefit of talking to a doctor or nurse, I'm really tempted to just go back to 40mg Kadian/day. When I was at that dosage, the pain wasn't overwhelming and I was much, much, more calm. I'm really feeling low tonight. Live alone. Feel like I'm imprisoned. Sitting in recliner for 3 hours. Pain isn't under control and it's making me crazy.
