Lignosus to help support lung health
Lignosus has recently been brought to my attention. Does anyone have any experience taking it? Natural plant based tigers milk mushroom.
I have MAC, Bronchiectasis, CF and was treated for psuedomonas last year after a bronchoscopy too. Doing all possible to avoid big 3 because of history with C Diff - 2x.
Thanks in advance for any feedback. Good or bad.
Happy Thursday!
Leisa

I was diagnosed with Bx around 10 years ago after many years of coughing and some evidence of asthma.
For the last 3 years I have been nebbing with hypertonic saline which has been a game changer in terms of warding off infections.
However over that time the amount of sputum I am extracting has been increasing to the point where it is regularly one and a half cups, around 10oz. Yesterday I produced 2 x7oz cups...often I feel that my throat is so sensitive that I could easily choke.
I saw somewhere, on Facebook, and possibly on this site, some research that recommended the use of Lignosis, organic tiger milk mushroom, which has been used in parts of Asia for centuries, for respiratory health. My order arrived today, and I have taken one sachet of the powder. By this time of the day without my second nebbing I would be normally be coughing and spitting and feeling the build up...but it us not that bad.
I am sure that just that one sachet has already helped! I am so hopeful.
I am sure others here have tried this. I would love to hear your story. It is expensive but if it works, it is definitely worth it.
Please share your experiences with Lignosis.
Hello @narelled23,
I moved your discussion and combined it with the existing discussion titled:

I did this so you could meet other members talking about Lignosus, like @leisa and @robbiemer.
@JustinMcClanahan Thank you so much!
My pulmonologist was aware of P63 but said she felt it was years into the future?
They have completed donor early phase one trials in China and UNC health at Chapel Hill will be applying to the FDA at the end of this year for a trial.
The trial entails using a Bronchoscope and retrieving a sample of stem cells from the airways and growing them in culture and re inserting them back via IV infusion.
Interest Ly in China they used the same technique via Bronchoscope to re ingraft the cells to the Lung.
Don't know how they would go about doing that.
The information I got was not by clinical trial results which apparently were not posted, but the reports stated that it could reverse fibrosis (Scarring) which is a major problem.
Please peruse the UNC health research site for more details and if you find something interesting let me know.
Thanks, and have a good day.
